About

Wateringbury Dog Sitter is a premium canine enrichment service based in the village of Wateringbury, Kent. Founded on the belief that every dog deserves more than a quick lap of the block, we offer overnight boarding, day care and daily walks tailored to the breed, temperament and energy of each dog in our care.
Our service is built for discerning dog owners who want genuine, one-to-one attention for their companion — whether they need a single overnight stay while they travel, full-day care while they work, or a properly matched walk that meets their dog's natural athleticism. We work with a small number of dogs at any one time, so every animal is known, understood and cared for as an individual.
The business is run by a canine care and welfare qualified sitter who is canine first aid trained and comprehensively insured. Every new client begins with a conversation and a meet-and-greet, followed by a trial night, so both dog and owner feel confident before any stay begins. We are only able to take fully vaccinated dogs, which is a licensed requirement.
Our approach is force-free and positive-reinforcement only. We know the Wateringbury woods, streams and safe resting spots by heart, and we plan each day around a familiar rhythm of welcome, exercise, enrichment and rest. The result is a dog that comes home content, settled and genuinely looked after — the standard of care we believe every dog is owed.
